An Unexpected Outing

Rico climbed into the garden wagon to check that it was sturdy enough.

Mila sat beside him to help with the inspection.

Pip perched on the edge for a better view.

Oszi set off with all three.

‘What about the tools?’ Mila asked after a while.

They all looked back at the watering can and spade they had left behind.

Rico thought for a moment.

‘We’re surveying the grounds first.’

The survey took an unusually long time that day.
