The Bond
The forms of the old world began to change. Her dress could be made of light, metal, colour or brushstrokes; her dog travelled with her through every age. Sometimes sculpture, sometimes painting, sometimes inhabitants of a future city — yet her faceless silver form, distinctive hair, black poodle companion and their familiar bond revealed who they were.
In every world we were different. Only one thing stayed the same: each other.
